Immigration & Trauma: Multilevel Perspectives on Latinx Immigrant Health
Four studies examine trauma exposure across structural, interpersonal, psychological, and cognitive domains among Latinx immigrants. Findings provide insight into how border policies, gender-based violence, trauma-related mechanisms, and chronic stress shape somatic, psychological, and cognitive health, reinforcing the need for culturally grounded, trauma-responsive frameworks to understand immigrant well-being.
