Neurostimulation, Perceptual Learning and Online Mindfulness Intervention: Novel Approaches to Normalize Dysfunctional Interoception and to Improve Mental Health.

Saturday, May 30, 2026 · Barcelona, Spain

Oral · Mental Health in Focus: Symptoms, Support & Intervention

Mental health critically relies on intact interoception, the perception of body signals. We present five different interventions to normalize disturbed interoception: Cardiac and respiratory perceptual learning tasks, transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation, and online mindfulness intervention. Data on feasibility (effect on interoception) and efficacy (mental health) are presented.
