Forgetting By Design: Memory Suppression across Contexts and Populations

Friday, May 29, 2026 · Barcelona, Spain

Oral · Thinking & Remembering: Attention, Memory & Control

Bringing together four complementary lines of research, this symposium examines how people forget unwanted memories through memory suppression. Together, these studies show that memory suppression can be observed, yet remains a context-sensitive process shaped by methodological rigor, attentional focus, and life circumstances.
