Cognitive (In)Flexibility In Emotional Disorders: Mechanisms, Pathways, Daily-Life Dynamics, and Intervention Targets
This symposium integrates experimental, developmental, dyadic, ecological, and intervention research to examine how biased and inflexible interpretations shape emotional vulnerability across contexts. By identifying interpretation flexibility as a cross-cutting mechanism, the talks advance theory and highlight promising targets for prevention and intervention in anxiety and depression.
