Advancing Understanding of Comorbidity: From Epidemiology to Modeling

Friday, May 29, 2026 · Barcelona, Spain

Oral · Mental Health in Focus: Symptoms, Support & Intervention

Comorbidity is described as ubiquitous in psychopathology studies. This statement largely comes from epidemiological cohort studies relying on lifetime rates of disorders. The presentations in this symposium challenges common notions of comorbidity using innovative models of disorder covariation, refined epidemiological data, logical definitions of symptom criteria, and formal mathematical modeling.
