Time Constructs and Psychological Well-Being across National Contexts and Developmental Periods
In this symposium, researchers examined the association of time constructs in adolescents from Chile, Peru, and Turkey, and emerging adults from Uruguay. They found that time constructs predict well-being and psychopathology in theoretically congruent ways. The findings highlight the importance of individuals’ time perspective in work on risk and resiliency.
