Person-Specific Models of Human Behavior: From Verbal Theory to Causal Inference and Empirical Testing

Saturday, May 30, 2026 · Barcelona, Spain

Oral · How We Know: Methods, Measurement & Open Science

The symposium outlines a methodological framework for personalized models of behavior. We propose formalizing assumptions with Directed Acyclic Graphs, integrating subjective and expert knowledge through Perceived Causal Networks, and collecting person-specific data via time-sensitive Ecological Momentary Assessment to advance theoretically coherent, empirically testable, and practically useful person-specific psychological models.
