Megastudies for Collective Action: Scalable Psychological Interventions to Mobilize Public, Political, and Civic Engagement
Across four large-scale megastudies (total N>78,000), this symposium showcases new evidence on the psychological drivers of collective and political action. Presenters reveal how emotional appeals, efficacy beliefs, social influence, and behavioral design shape climate advocacy and voter participation, identifying scalable, theory-grounded interventions to strengthen democratic engagement and climate action.
