This symposium will review recent developments in research on implicit motives. It will cover ways to automate scoring of motives through AI, clinical implications of implicit/explicit motive congruence, Pavlovian learning of motive-driven attentional biases, as well as the development and validation of a measure of the need for sex (nSex).
