Staying Engaged? New Insights in the Psychology of Task Persistence
This symposium presents new insights in the psychological factors influencing task persistence from a multi-theory and multimethod perspective. Contributions of four laboratories located in three counties highlight the important roles of personality, boredom, fatigue, and moods in cognitive and physical tasks, providing a holistic understand of what keeps people engaged.
