Give Me a Reason: How Clear Implications and Motivation Influence Feedback

Undergraduate students contributed to two experimental studies (McHugh, Sen, Rocha, Özman, Gorman, & Shell) which explored how context and individual differences influence feedback quality, including whether people provide higher quality feedback when requests offer clear reasons and when people have greater motivations to give feedback.
