Abstract

This presentation examines how humans adapt reading and learning strategies in response to emerging technologies—digital screens and audiobooks—compared to print. Research focuses on cognitive processes involved in comprehension and potential blind spots of technology-based learning. Undergraduates are integrated at every stage as collaborators, illustrating how research and teaching can be mutually reinforcing.
