Shaping the Attentive Brain From Early Development

This talk explores executive attention’s development from infancy to mid-childhood. Defining attention through sustained, selective, and executive domains, we argue that early endogenous control founds self-regulation. I present research highlighting how environmental factors shape both the emergence of these cognitive functions and their underlying brain mechanisms in early development.
