The Effect of Language Context on Bilinguals’ Moral Judgments

This talk examines how language context affects moral judgments in bilinguals. We compare school-learned foreign-language speakers and regional bilinguals differing in proficiency, age of acquisition, and emotional resonance. Despite these differences, both groups show similar language effects when making moral decisions, highlighting context’s impact on moral evaluation.
