Abstract
We examined how temperament relates to attentional networks in 51 children aged 6–7 using the Attentional Network Task and the Children’s Behavior Questionnaire. Negative Affectivity predicted poorer Orienting performance, and an “At-Risk” profile (high Negative Affectivity, low Effortful Control) showed the lowest Orienting scores, highlighting temperament’s role in attention.
