Abstract

This qualitative study gathered formative data from 22 NYC-based emergency department providers (i.e., nurses, medical doctors, social workers) regarding barriers, facilitators, and core content for a single-session intervention targeting youth with suicidal thoughts/behaviors. Interviews identified implementation considerations (e.g., staffing, workflow, cultural factors, feasibility, and policy) to inform future intervention development.
