Abstract

Gentrification reshapes neighborhoods in ways that alter marginalized residents’ daily experiences and future outlooks. This study explores how shifting demographics, rising costs, and cultural change influence residents’ sense of belonging, perceptions of community, and expectations for stability. Findings highlight subtle psychological effects that shape how long-term residents navigate neighborhood transformation.
