Lexical Organization In Down Syndrome: Insights from Cognitive Network Analysis

We examined lexical structure in children using CDI-based semantic networks. We compared 10 children with Down syndrome (MA = 3.5) and 10 typically developing infants (A = 1.9), matched by vocabulary size. Down syndrome networks showed higher clustering, indicating denser organization and underscoring the value of network analysis.
