Abstract
Loneliness disproportionately affects adolescent and socio-economically marginalised youth. Most research examines trait loneliness, overlooking daily fluctuations. We will conduct an experience sampling method study with 250 adolescents to investigate the social and cognitive pathways from socio-economic marginalisation to loneliness in youth. Data will be analysed with multilevel vector autoregressive modelling.
