Perceptions of Workplace Harm: Cognitive and Moral Judgments of OSHA Violations Among Blue-Collar and Immigrant Workers

Abstract
This study explores how blue-collar and immigrant workers interpret workplace safety violations through cognitive, moral, and experiential lenses. Using qualitative interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, project examines workers’ perceptions of harm, fairness, responsibility, and justice in response to OSHA violations and employer negligence, highlighting implications for safety culture and organizational accountability.
