Abstract
We investigated how forms of self-continuity contribute to diachronic unity. Our online study revealed that individuals who report diachronic unity show higher past I-self continuity than those who report diachronic disunity, suggesting that past I-self continuity may support diachronic unity to a greater extent than the other forms of self-continuity.
