Abstract
Volunteering benefits both organizations and individuals who contribute their time. This study identified factors that motivate and hinder volunteer participation, engagement, and satisfaction. Results showed volunteer motivation is multifaceted encompassing intrinsic values and relationships. This study offered insights into how organizations can better support volunteers.
