Abstract
This randomized trial assessed the long-term effects of the Behavioral Employment Program, an employment-focused, behavioral intervention implemented with gang- and justice-involved youth during the “Great Recession.” Results showed no long-term impacts on incarceration outcomes over 17 years, which has implications for the role of employment in disengaging youth from crime.
