Abstract
This study examined whether family dynamics predicted youth suicidality. Psychological aggression (B = 0.24) and lower relationship quality (B = 0.38) elevated risk, while parenting aggravation was inversely associated (B = –0.28). No racial or ethnic differences emerged. Findings highlight relational and psychologically aggressive caregiving processes as key intervention targets.
