Abstract
This biopsychosocial model tests the mediating effects of sleep in the association between anxiety symptoms and pain interference to explore the role of participants’ predisposition toward dysregulated emotion. Refining models of longitudinal linkages between anxiety, sleep, and pain informs intervention design by describing the extent tailored approaches may be warranted.
