Emerging Adult Experiences and Perception of Identity Bias and Affirmation at a Liberal Arts College: A 6-Year Cross-Sectional Study

Across 6-years, 521 participants at  an American Midwestern liberal arts college related experiences with microaggressions and affirmations. Although all members of minoritized groups (ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, first generation) experienced more microaggressions and fewer microaffirmations than majority students, those with intersectional identities had the most negative experiences.
