Intellectual Humility across the Career Span: Evidence from Japanese Working Adults

This study examined age differences in intellectual humility among 878 Japanese working adults. Unlike conscientiousness, which showed curvilinear age-related increases, intellectual humility showed no systematic age patterns. Results suggest intellectual humility is shaped more by situational factors than aging, highlighting its malleability as a workplace competency cultivable through training.
