Abstract

We examined the psychometric properties of the Social Connectedness Instrument among 919 U.S. adult participants (Mage = 46.93, 51.36% female, 62.57% White). The instrument displayed acceptable model fit indices, high internal reliability, strong convergent validity with other measures of loneliness, flourishing, depression, anxiety, and stress.
