Abstract

We examined whether short-term L-tyrosine supplementation affects risk taking and reaction time on the BART. Participants (N = 55; healthy adults) completed pre- and post-testing with or without psychosocial stress. Tyrosine increased salivary tyrosine but did not affect BART metrics. Reaction time declines were significantly reduced in the tyrosine group.
