Perception and Interpretation of Online Radicalization: Insights from Digital-Investigative Professionals

This study examines how digital-investigative professionals interpret online radicalization cues across social media platforms. Using qualitative interviews, focus groups with law enforcement and intelligence personnel in United States and Africa, research explores how cultural context, investigative experience, and perceptual judgment shape interpretations of radical content and inform digital counter-radicalization strategies.
