Enhancing STEM Instructors’ Self-Efficacy for Culturally-Informed Teaching through Classroom Simulation

Abstract
Grounded in interview data, we aim to develop a virtual, classroom-based, wise intervention to support post-secondary STEM instructors in their exploration and implementation of culturally-informed pedagogies. Using simulation recordings, debriefs, and pre/post surveys, we will investigate whether the intervention improves self-efficacy, implementation intentions, and behavioral enactment of culturally-informed practices.
