Abstract
his qualitative study explores how unplanned pregnancy is experienced by college women of color in the U.S. South. Using phenomenological interviews with eleven participants, findings reveal emotional burdens, gendered contraceptive responsibility, partner influence, and cultural pressures that constrain reproductive autonomy. Results underscore the need for culturally responsive, reproductive justice–centered support.
