Abstract
Via 25-year prospective follow-up of 228 diverse women with/without childhood ADHD (the world’s largest such investigation), objective, dichotomous outcomes (e.g., incarceration, hospitalization, homelessness) revealed large-effect impairments contrasted with neurotypical comparisons but statistical equivalence regarding Combined vs. Inattentive ADHD subtypes. This unprecedented latter finding challenges conventional wisdom, prompting explanatory research.
