Abstract
We examined parent-child concordance of family contact with the criminal legal system, correlates of concordance, and relations with children’s adjustment. Discrepancies existed for parents’ and children’s reporting. Child’s race was differentially associated with concordance. The relation between concordance and children’s adjustment varied by type of contact, concordance group, and outcome.
