Abstract
Wechsler Intelligence Test data was employed as a dimensional rating system in the diagnosis of dementia. Based upon the mean values of Alzheimer’s Disease patients reported in the WAIS-5 manual, a dimensional rating system was computed. With 320 patients this approach proved useful in discriminating between dementia and non-dementia diagnoses.
