Abstract
This study will examine the effect of bilingual language experience on cognitive resource recruitment when the environment is held constant. Spanish–English heritage speakers and Mandarin–English international students living in California will complete a battery of tasks. We predict group differences in lexical access and controlled retrieval beyond proficiency.
