Abstract
A series of moderated regressions revealed non-significant interactions between rating and rater type when comparing teacher and military personality assessments. Notably, however, military ratings showed no association with cognitive ability, whereas teacher ratings did (r=.20). This divergence underscores a novel pattern of rater-type effects, suggesting differences in evaluator judgment characteristics.
