Abstract
This longitudinal study examined reciprocal associations between social skills and conflict in close relationships from ages 10 to 14. Using Random Intercept Cross-Lagged Panel Models, lower social skills were associated with higher teacher conflict at the between-person level. At the within-person level, results showed no effects, suggesting limited reciprocal associations.
