Abstract
Post-pandemic youth are experiencing rising mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression. This nation-wide study (n=3,501) examined problematic substance use and behavioural addictions among Canadian youth. The results indicate a significant minority are exhibiting problematic engagement—especially in video gaming and social media—linked to individual characteristics and jurisdictional policy differences.
