Abstract
Facial expression predictions shape social perception, yet their evolution across adulthood remains unclear. In 268 adults, older age was associated with reduced stereotypicality of predictions, suggesting potential dynamism in predictive mechanisms. Moreover, associations between prediction and social evaluation remained stable throughout lifespan.
