Abstract

Perfectionism was examined in loss of control eating (LOCE) and overeating (OOE) with eating goals and guilt over 10 days (N = 124). Perfectionism was measured once; daily-diaries examined other variables. Perfectionism potentiated OOE and LOCE with goal failure and goal failure to OOE and LOCE next day via guilt.
