Posters · Emotion & Motivation: What Drives the Self
In three studies (N1 = 284, N2 = 284, N3 = 203 couples) we investigated whether narcissism is related to low self-differentiation (weak emotional and cognitive separation from others, resulting in emotion dysregulation). Neurotic and antagonistic narcissists manifested low self-differentiation which was linked to poor relationship quality.
