Understanding Racial Differences In Educators’ Knowledge and Interpretation of System-Involved Families

Abstract
We will examine how educator race and role shape perceptions of parental involvement for system-involved families. Surveys of teachers, administrators, and support staff will assess responses across six formal and informal information pathways. This study aims to identify potential racial differences in understanding and supporting children’s out-of-school experiences.
