Underestimated Climate Action Support In the Netherlands: Misperceptions across Party Lines

We investigated pluralistic ignorance and willingness to contribute to climate action among Dutch voters (N = 25,026). Our findings reveal significant underestimation of public willingness, with actual willingness and climate change-related beliefs varying by political affiliation - highlighting the need to consider political ideology in climate policy communication and design.
