How Emotional and Instrumental Support Shape Possible Selves In Discipline-Referred Youth: A Social Network Study

Abstract
This study examines how emotional and instrumental support influence possible selves among discipline-referred youth. Using social network interviews and a possible selves survey, we will analyze the associations between support and youths’ strategies and confidence in achieving expected/hoped-for selves and avoiding feared selves.
