Abstract
This study (N = 281, Mage = 23.80) explored fear of intimacy and parental bonding in young adults varying in autistic traits. Participants with autistic traits (n = 52) declared higher fear of intimacy compared to the no-AT group, while recalling higher maternal care and lower maternal and paternal protection.
