Abstract
This study examined the impact of racism on the self-esteem of immigrant-origin Black youth, within a Canadian higher educational context. Interviews with participants revealed three themes: internalization and emotional distress, identity conflict and belonging challenges, resilience and pride. Findings can aid development of interventions/policies to bolster wellbeing in this population.
