Abstract
Using thematic coding of 41 educator interviews, we identified six types of information flow—formal and informal pathways through which schools learn about students’ involvement in immigration, criminal legal, and child welfare systems. Frequency patterns show uneven formal/informal information access, highlighting structural constraints and implications for confidentiality and family–school trust.
