Abstract

We examined a contagion model of the association of weapon exposure in the neighborhood, family, and peer group on late adolescent/young adult weapon use. The odds of weapon use in the past year were predicted by higher levels of exposure to neighborhood weapon violence and ease of obtaining a weapon.
