How Bilingual Experience Shapes Grammar: Empirical Insights from Sentence Repetition In Polish-Speaking Children

This empirical study of 90 children (monolingual, Polish-English, Polish-German) using a Polish SRep task found that monolinguals outperformed bilinguals across different grammatical measures. Results show which syntactic structures are most affected by bilingual experience and emphasize that lower bilingual scores reflect typical trajectories, not disorder.
